Police probing suspected drowning

POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING the circumstances surrounding the unnatural death of a man who appears to be in his thirties.

It occurred after 11 p.m. on Thursday at Worthing Beach, Christ Church.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the deceased was seen in the sea and was subsequently noticed floating face down before disappearing under water. 

The body later washed ashore at Worthing around 1:25 a.m. today. (PR/NB)
