BUSHY PARK was bursting at the seams as thousands took their positions on the racetrack eagerly awaiting the soca showdown – Soca Royale.
The St Philip location was once again the venue for the MQI/98.1 The One event in association with JetBlue. About 17 acts competed in the Sweet Soca and Party Monarch competitions.
From as early as midday, groups of varying sizes came prepared for a full day with their chairs, food and coolers filled with drinks.
There were vendors galore, and some colourful characters. (TG)
