The thousands of cricket fans who are hoping to attend the Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) have been told there are many tickets still available for them.
With the first contest in Barbados just three days away, MIDWEEK SPORT investigations have found that even though there have been rapid sales ahead of the upcoming matches on the island, fans can still buy their preferred seats to see their favourite players in action.
Contrary to word on the street around Barbados and on social media across the region, the preliminary-round matches featuring the Barbados Tridents men and women are far from sold out.
It was stated clearly that there are still “quite a few tickets” but “sales are moving swiftly”.
