Track stars raise funds

THIS YEAR’S athletics champions took to the streets of Barbados yesterday to raise funds for Ramona Griffith and Antoine “Brudda Daddy” Williams.

The Champion of Champions motorcade included the National Primary Schools Athletics Championships (NAPSAC) boys and girls champions, Bayley’s Primary and Charles F. Broome Primary, respectively.

The Barbados Secondary Schools Athletics Championships (BSSAC) boys champions The St Michael School Cougars, girls champions Christ Church Foundation School, and the Starcom Network/Nation Publishing Conquering Lions were also a part of the event.

Barbadians lined the streets in the parishes of Christ Church, St Philip and St Michael to celebrate the champions, as well as give willingly to the cause. (RA)
