A stroll for UWI

DEFENDING CHAMPIONS UWI Blackbirds collected another important win, as they came away with a comfortable 2-0 triumph over Ellerton in the Digicel Premier League at the Wildey AstroTurf on Tuesday night.

Another goal from Dario “Ears” Harewood, coupled with a second-half Mario Harte strike, meant that UWI were always effectively in control of the encounter as their late season form continues to iron out some of the kinks on an initially troublesome campaign.

UWI got the better of the opening exchanges, despite Ellerton’s attempts to disrupt their passing game.  (ML)
