PRIME MINISTER FREUNDEL STUART says good citizens will settle for nothing less than good governance.
His comments were made while speaking at the Lions Centennial black tie affair held on Saturday night at Hilton Barbados to recognise the humanitarian efforts of a number of their members.
Stuart said the Lions, who are celebrating 100 years of service, understood the necessity of promoting the principles of good governance and good citizenship, which he said were two sides of the same coin.
“Good citizens will settle for nothing less than good government, and good government will [place at the top of its priority list] the obligation to produce good citizens,” he said. (SDB Media)
