A NEW trophy has been added to the Barbados Rally Club”s (BRC) Chefette MudDogs Safari Safari Novice Championships from this year.
The Shelbury Construction Trophy will be at stake for drivers winning the Driver Challenges of the championship beginning from Sunday’s March Safari.
The Safari has attracted 13 crews in a variety of machines and includes defending champions Chris O’Neal and Leslie Alleyne in the Simpson Motors/Shell Spirax /Shell Rimula/Maxxis Isuzu D-Max.
BRC MudDogs sub-committee chairman Ricky Holder said the new trophy was made possible through Chris Armstrong of Shelbury Construction, a long-standing supporter of MudDogs events and it would be presented alongside the traditional trophies at the annual prizegiving. (TT)
