BARBADIAN Antoinette Downie confirmed her status as a world-class women’s physique competitor by cracking the top ten of the Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio, last weekend.
It was a solid placing from Downie, who is in her fourth year as an International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB) pro athlete.
Downie, 38, placed tenth in a high-class international field of 30 women. The event was won by Daniely Castilho of Brazil.
“Tenth place at the Arnold Classic is a great achievement on my first appearance at the event. I am happy,” said Downie on her Facebook page. (MK)
