BARBADIANS have been told not to look to the Town and Country Planning Department to settle neighbour and family disputes over line marks.
This caution is coming from Chief Town Planner Mark Cummins, who has also supported a call for public meetings to be held whenever requests are made to change of use of land in this country.
Cummins was speaking during the first town hall meeting held to get feedback on the draft Physical Development Plan Amendment. It took place at Princess Margaret School in Six Roads, St Philip, on Saturday.
A woman in the audience said she was yet to get satisfaction from Town Planning regarding a dispute she had with a neighbour over fencing. (JS)
