Holetown on edge after killing

THERE WAS A brooding sense of uneasiness in the Holetown community about the crime level before last Friday.

But yesterday morning’s brazen shooting which claimed the life of 25-year-old Andrew King and left two others injured, has only served to leave the shell-shocked St James community even more concerned.

According to police reports, King, along with friends Aidan Pestaina and Prince Thomas, were standing and talking just outside of Limegrove Lifestyle Centre when they were approached by two men.

Those two assailants then opened fire on the trio, shooting the former R. A. Mapp Bar & Rotisserie Chicken employee multiple times and killing him on the spot.
