THE TEAM GLORY at the Scotiabank Jim Wedderburn Zone in the National Primary Schools Athletics Championships went to St Giles Primary, who swept both the boys and girls competitions; but Sharon Primary had one of the biggest stars of the day in Division 5 athlete Samiya Dell.

Sharon’s wonder girl shared the victrix ludorum with J’Nia Edwards of St Giles and Hindsbury’s Alexis Mascoll.

Dell sent records tumbling in the high and long jumps, and sprinted to victory in the 200 metres. (MK)
