DARIAN KING literally served notice.
The king of swing credited the weakest part of his game for his biggest win yet, having said that Tuesday’s spectacular serving performance was the key to upsetting world No.32 Bernard Tomic.
King made the assessment in an interview with NATION SPORTS one day after registering the most historic victory of his career in the first round of the Memphis Open.
“For me it was about serving well and not worrying about holding because by now everyone knows that my service game is a problem for me but [Tuesday] I found I stood aggressive in my service games even while I was up,” reasoned the 24-year-old baseliner. (JM)
