Tattoo advice

WAIT UNTIL YOU are older.

That is the advice from two priests to the increasing number of minors who are wearing visible tattoos to school.

No biblical verses were cited and no doctrines quoted, but the two members of the cloth who weighed in on the issue are not in favour of minors marking themselves.

Pastor Anderson Kellman of the Nazarene Church sees it as “distracting” to children.

“I don’t know that having a whole set of people with tattoos of all shapes and forms can be helpful for the learning environment. For young children I would suggest that you avoid it at that age. . . . I would suggest that parents wait until their children are older and let them decide what they want to do in that regard,” he said. (YB)
