RESIDENTS OF Melvin’s Avenue, Black Rock, St Michael were this evening expressing concern about the smell of gas in their area from early in the afternoon.

A very annoyed member of the community called NATION ONLINE  to report the matter and said her efforts to reach the relevant authorities were unsuccessful.

When a news team visited the scene personnel from the Barbados Water Authority were working.

Efforts to reach management at the Barbados National Oil Company at Woodbourne, St Philip were futile. (JS)
