HC’s $85 000 smart classroom

AN $85 000 INVESTMENT in a state-of-the-art smart classroom at Harrison College will give the students even greater access to a globally competitive education.

Principal Juanita Wade said: “It is our intention to see teachers and students make much use of this state-of-the-art technology, it will mean that we will be able to interact with students and teachers resources and resource personnel from across the globe.

“The centre will be equipped with the most current technology, which means it will place the students at an advantage where they will be able to continue to compete globally.”

The air-conditioned media resource room will be outfitted with a smart whiteboard, four television sets, be fully Internet wired and a Wi-Fi hotspot. (LK)
