Heavy rains crossing lines

EVERYTIME IT RAINS heavily Judie Marshall’s home is bombarded with calls from people looking for dry cleaning services.

It is as a result of a mix-up in telephone numbers that has assigned her long-standing Ivy, St Michael number to a laundry service for the last three years.

Marshall admitted that she was not annoyed outright by the 8 30 a.m. to 7 p.m. calls but said that during rainy times it became almost a “day job”.

“When the rain falls, I get so many calls aboutdry cleaning services and they would start in the morning on those days up to 9 p.m. in the night,” she said. (MR)
