PROMISES, PROMISES, PROMISES.
Residents of St Philip are tired of what they term the empty promises of politicians, who have pledged over the years to fix the rocky roads that they have had to skilfully manoeuvre by foot, day in day out, and in the dead of night.
As a result of the empty words, many of them are adopting a wait-and-see attitude as it relates to the plans by the Ministry of Transport and Works to fix some of the bad roads in the parish.
Some roads in St Philip are earmarked to be fixed now that Government has received a loan from the Development Bank of Latin America.
