BARBADOS’ INTERNATIONAL super star Rihanna will be on island for the 50th Anniversary of Independence.
Prime Minister Freundel Stuart made the announcement moments ago at a press briefing at Ilaro Court where he is outlining some of the plans to mark the milestone.
Rihanna is scheduled to sing the National Anthem at a concert on Independence Day, November 30. She will be accompanied by a choir of children.
The Prime Minister said several other digniatries had indicated an interest, while Guyana’s President David Granger had confirmed his attendance. (BN)
