16-year-old on murder charge

A 16-YEAR-OLD BOY is the latest person to be charged with murder.

Police charged Raffique Vincent Murray of Sinckler Road, Haggatt Hall, St Michael, in the death of David Delisle Harewood.

The body of 39-year-old Harewood, of no fixed place of abode, was discovered by a police mobile unit around 2:10 a.m. on October 3.

He was lying in the roadway at the junction of George Street and Belmont Road, St Michael. There was severe head trauma.

Murray also faces additional charges of serious bodily harm and theft.

He is expected to appear at the District ‘A’ Magistrate Court on Saturday. (PR/SAT)
