Arson suspected as second garage hit by fire

THE FIREBUG has struck a second car garage this week, causing extensive damage to the businesses and vehicles.

On Sunday night, Maxwell Hill, Christ Church mechanic Lionel Sullivan reported that a fire had consumed his garage which housed six vehicles and other equipment. He suspected it was arson.

Yesterday, Sunil Brome, owner of a three-year-old Lower Estate, St Michael vehicular company, also claimed arson after he got a call that his business was on fire.

Brome, of Transformer Auto Services, wants to know who was responsible for the blaze that has put him out thousands of dollars. (MR)
