‘Lil Man’ brings back the buzz

THE FANS couldn’t wait to see “Lil Man”.

And Antonio Daniel didn’t disappoint.

Opponent Winston “Ballees” Padmore probably wished Daniel didn’t end his boycott of Professional Road Tennis Association (PRTA) tournaments, suffering a 21-11, 21-15 defeat at Tuesday’s Barbados Public Workers’ Credit Union’s Monarchs of the Court.

It was the highlight of a fairly routine night of action at the Cable Wireless Wildey courts, where big guns Julian “Michael Jackson” White and Darius “Barracus” Gaskin also predictably advanced to the round of 16.

And while Gaskin and White entertained with their own shot-making, Daniel was the definite drawing card after he made his first appearance at a PRTA tournament in two seasons.
