Family picking up pieces after tree crashes in

AN A MATTER OF seconds Caprice Woodall had to figure out how to deal with the damage caused to two cars, her garage roof and fence after a mahogany tree fell on them.

At about 2 p.m. on Wednesday the gigantic mahogany tree, one of several trees which fell during the passage of Tropical Storm Matthew, made its surprise visit on the property owned by Woodall’s 83-year-old father Darcey Badenock.

She said though one of the cars was not in use, the other was her only means of transportation and once the branches were removed she would have a better assessment of the damage and contact her insurance company. (LK)
