THE VOICES OF students across the island were represented yesterday as the United Nations (UN) hosted its Activate Talk discussion.
The panel discussion which was hosted at UN House in Marine Gardens, Christ Church fielded the opinions of students from the secondary school, Barbados Community College and University of the West Indies communities.
A number of issues they discussed were focused on how technology could be better implemented in the current educational system.
Meanwhile, president of the National Council of Parent Teacher Associations Shone Gibbs said it was important to hear the views of the youth as they looked to making policy, especially as it pertained to the use of technology in schools. (AD)
