CAC team ready for Santo Domingo

READY and raring to go! 

That assessment came from Dr Andrew Forde, manager of the 20-member team heading off to Dominican Republic for the Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Body Building and Fitness Championship, scheduled to begin at the weekend. 

“The team is expected to finish in the first three this year. Competition will be very [intense] because we go up against the likes of Trinidad, Venezuela, Netherlands Antilles, and the defending champions the Bahamas,” he told NATION SPORT yesterday. 

This year’s team, despite missing three-time Mr Barbados Stevenson Belle and Junior Barbados title holder Shaquile Lavine, still includes eight former CAC champions. (RA)
