IT’S BACK to the Cable & Wireless’ hardcourts in Wildey for the Barbados Public Workers Cooperative Credit Union’s Monarchs Of The Court road tennis tournament starting tomorrow.

The lucrative tournament, which will see 53 men vying for a car worth $60 000 and 17 women playing for a first prize of $7 000, had to be shifted from the new facility in Dash Valley after the Town and Country Planning Department informed The Professional Road Tennis Association it was a designated Zone 1 area and such an activity could not be staged at that location.

Six matches are scheduled on the opening night with Anderson Smith and Wayne Grazette first on court at 6. (EZS)
