DOZENS of schoolchildren in Barbados will have it Taylor-made tomorrow and Friday.

That’s because the best triple jumper in the world and the winner of the gold medal at the last two Olympics, Christian Taylor, is heading here this afternoon and will do motivational speeches at St Catherine Primary, Hilda Skeene Primary and Lester Vaughan Secondary during his four-day stay.

St Catherine Primary is the alma mater of Taylor’s father Ian, who will accompany him to Barbados.

Principal Carlton Reid told the MIDWEEK NATION that Taylor will visit the school, which has a roll of 145, tomorrow morning at 10:30, while he will visit Lester Vaughan Secondary in the afternoon.

Deputy principal of Lester Vaughan, Tanya Harding, said that the 26-year-old Taylor is scheduled to meet athletes and first-formers in the school hall tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. (MK)
