IT WON’T BE ONE and done for the King of swing.

Darian King staged yet another of those thrilling comeback wins, probably his most memorable one yet, having battled back from a set down to beat former top 50 player Grega Zemlja in yesterday’s first round of qualifying at tennis’ US Open.

Backed by a supportive crowd on court five that included his father Wesley, King rallied for the unlikeliest of 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 victories against the Slovenian 31st seed.

The win was just his second ever at a Grand Slam event and put the world no.167 just two victories away from a first ever appearance in the main draw of a Grand Slam.
