THE MV HARBOUR MASTER’S return to Barbados has left operators of Jolly Roger 1 feeling as if they have been attacked by buccaneers.
The party boat’s operators have reported a drop in bookings since June. All this, charged one of its directors, was due to the return of the MV Harbour Master.
Allan Kinch, a director of Black Pearl Party Cruises Inc., which operates the Jolly Roger 1, told the MIDWEEK NATION yesterday that they have just seven Crop Over cruises for the rest of the week, a drastic cut from the 14 they originally had.
“We have seen less bookings for sure. Weknew that back in June when we heard thatthe boat was returning there would be competition, but didn’t expect to be so low,” he said. (NS)
