A ST JAMES MAN was granted $15 000 bail with two sureties after pleading not guilty to four drug offences in the District “C” Magistrates Court on July 5.

Police say 23-year-old Raphael Earlmer Jordan of Husbands Crescent arrived on a flight from Jamaica on July 4 and was searched by Customs.

Twenty-three packages of cannabis weighing seven kilogrammes were allegedly found hidden among articles of clothing in his suitcase.  Jordan was detained and charged with possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation.

He is expected to reappear in District “B” Magistrates Court on July 21. (PR/NB)
