Body recovered from St Lucy beach

THE DECOMPOSED BODY of a man was discovered on the beach at Jones Bay, Bishops, St Lucy on Saturday evening.

Around 5 p.m., a man saw the body and summoned the police and Barbados Fire Service.

The body was recovered from the beach, which is at the bottom of a 40-foot cliff.

A police release says the body appears to be male, but no further information is available due to state of decomposition.
