PARENTS OF ST MATTHEW’S Primary School students remain unhappy and maintain that principal Barbara-Anne Brome-Bailey “has to go”.
The group of concerned parents will protest on Tuesday after their planned action yesterday morning – the day of Governor General Sir Elliott Belgrave’s visit to the school – was shut down by lawmen.
At 11 a.m. on Tuesday, placard-bearing parents are expected to again decry actions by Brome-Bailey, including what they claimed were her words to students and parents.
Yesterday, about ten parents gathered near the school along Friendly Hall Main Road, St Michael, with placards. They maintained their call that the principal, who had been at the school from January, be removed.
