Farmer fighting men, monkeys

WINSTON WILKINSON IS a farmer who is fighting a battle against praedial larceny on two fronts.

He’s been left battling against thieves both with two hands and four feet at his St Thomas orchard.

Earlier this week, Wilkinson and his neighbour Marcia Coombs explained that they had once again been forced to pick their limes early to prevent them from being stolen.

The pair told the WEEKEND NATION that thieves from the surrounding communities would come during the night to and shake the limes off his trees to sell at the market.

He would only discover leftover limes from the theft the next morning. (AD)

This sign at the front of Winston Wilkinson’s St Thomas orchard served as a warning to those who were caught stealing.
