Two charged following West Coast drug bust

POLICE HAVE FORMALLY charged two men in connection with the seizure of over 660 pounds of cannabis on Monday. 

Corey Alphonso Flatts, 40, of Green Hiil Drive, Silver Hill, Christ Church and Vincentian Andy Adrain Ferdinand, 38, are expected to appear in the Holetown Magistrates Court tomorrow.

They were charged with possession, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation.

The drugs were seized after members of the Drug Squad, with assistance from the Barbados Coast Guard, intercepted a locally registered boat off the West Coast. (PR/NB)
