Student stabbed

POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING the circumstances surrounding a report of a stabbing which occurred at the Grantley Adams Memorial School about 11 a.m. today.

A female Fifth Form student received several stab wounds during an altercation with another female student. 

She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance with injuries which are said to be non-life-threatening.

Police say no one is in custody and no further information will be given as to the identity of those involved or weapon used. (PR/SAT)
