BARBADOS and Trinidad and Tobago are two out of the nine territories where Republic Bank has prosecuted people for fraud in recent years.

And general manager, group marketing and communications at the Trinidad head office, Michelle Palmer-Keizer, told the SUNDAY SUN yesterday that it was a testament to the security systems the bank has in place.

Two Eastern European men are currently on remand in Barbados on ATM fraud charges. They were spotted at the Broad Street branch of Republic Bank on April 1. The machines there showed signs of being tampered with.
