Family scare

THE CASE of a recently missing child has sparked renewed calls for men to “man up”.

Hours after police issued the notice that 11-year-old Tarel Taronta Adams, of Station Hill, St Peter, was missing yesterday, he was found by them walking near the roundabout in Speightstown while he was making his way back home.

The Eagle Hall Primary School student went missing officially on Sunday, but he had given his mother, Kimberley Adams, a scare last Thursday as well.

Tarel left home to play with a friend and was not seen or heard from until late that night. Kimberley said she was not unduly alarmed initially, because the popular Q In The Community was in the area, and she figured he had gone to watch the activity. (YB)
