NO CORRECTION without compensation.
That is the word from the Barbados Secondary Teachers’ Union (BSTU) over the ongoing dispute over payment for correcting School Based Assessments (SBAs), as the exam term and the deadlines for them draw nearer.
During her address at the union’s annual general meeting at Queen’s College yesterday, president Mary Redman said the union was maintaining the stance it took last year.
Teachers across secondary schools supervised and assisted students until the final drafts were completed, and the projects were submitted to principals who were forced to look for alternative ways of getting the papers corrected and submitted to the Caribbean Examination Council (CXC).
