Still awaiting ganja research

IN RESPONSE to Mr Hermon Lowe’s letter of February 25 titled Research Proves Lowe Wrong. I would like to ask him some questions and would like to solicit some answers from him.

He was attempting to respond to my article of February 18 titled No Proof Of Marijuana Healing. I must say that he did not present any proof of marijuana healing to my mind. I don’t think anything was medically wrong with those individuals who used marijuana, in the first place. They were not sick, they became sick.

I ask humbly, Mr Lowe, why do so many marijuana users hallucinate? Is that what “heavy” use is supposed to do? Why do “good” people on marijuana start to steal? Why do they eat out of dustbins and trash cans, what rats left overnight? Why do such individuals break into family houses? Why do such individuals become a danger to themselves, to their family members and to society as a whole?

Some of them leave thecomfort of good homes and become homeless, don’t they? Some spend all their money on the substance. But why?

This satanic marijuana can’t be helpful to anybody. People who use this “stuff” overcome its usage, only to suffer a relapse, returning to the same usage. This satanic marijuana can’t be helpful. It is dangerous. It should never be referred to as communion either, except one is complying with Satan’s wishes.

So where is this research kept, Mr Lowe? Is it kept in some clandestine spot? Am I privy to this research? Do others have the same privilege? In which archive is it kept Mr Lowe?

On a lighter note, Mr Lowe. My late father told me that his father, a white Caucasian, fathered 32 children. It might be a good thing that the DNA technology didn’t seem to be around then.

Recently, I met my great uncle’s brother, whom I did not know previously, who told me his grandfather fathered 16 children. I don’t even know how many uncles, great uncles, nieces, great nieces and other relatives I have scattered across the length and breadth of this country and others. We might be related distantly, by blood, Hermon.

In the meantime, I would like you to ponder what Jesus said to His disciples in Matthew 24:11: “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.”

Could He have been speaking of you, Mr Hermon Lowe? What do you think?

A word to the wise is enough.

– Bishop Vibert Dac. Lowe
