THE MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR court case involving former CLICO top executive Leroy Parris is set to be heard on March 9.

Today Justice Olson Alleyne adjourned the matter after a number of undertakings by the lawyers involved to have the relevant documents filed.

Parris and his legal team were present for the 90-minute in-chamber hearing which ended about 11:30 a.m. Afterwards Parris said he had nothing to say about the matter.

CLICO International Life Insurance Limited, through judicial manager DeLoitte Consulting Inc, are locked in battle with Parris and his firm Branlee Consulting Services over the $3.3 million in the Bank of Nova Scotia which the High Court had ordered frozen.

The regional conglomerate CLICO collapsed several years ago leaving thousands of policyholders financially devastated. (AC)
