A CHRIST CHURCH man may have the formula for getting the authorities to focus on praedial larceny, which continues to dig deep into the profits of farmers.
Hashim Degia is likening its effects to the serious non-communicable diseases affecting the health of Barbadians and which have engaged the attention of stakeholders, including the Government.
And while the statistics for the known chronic diseases are staggering, Degia is more concerned about the other consequences of crop theft.
He spoke to the destructive “chronic disease” at a town hall meeting on health care financing on Tuesday night.
