MEMBERS OF THE Drug Squad have formally charged Jamaican national Dane Mark Farquharson with four drug-related offences.
The 33-year-old construction worker arrived by air from Jamaica on Sunday. A search of his luggage by Customs officials allegedly revealed 2.2 kilogrammes (4.6 pounds) of cannabis hidden in a portable stereo.
Farquharson was expected to appear at the District “F” Magistrates Court today charged with possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation. (PR/NB)
