GRACELYN GRIFFITH found herself at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) because of what she suspects is dust generated from the Arawak Cement Plant.

Last Monday, the Bromefield, St Lucy resident said her throat felt scratchy and in a week she was at the Maurice Byer Polyclinic for nebuliser treatments.

However, she said the nebuliser was not working and she was subsequently sent to the QEH. She also reported that another man from the area was also sent to the hospital for respiratory issues. (CA)
