BARBADIANS have forsaken the word of God for the word of man.

And it will take the people of God to help rebuild the religious foundation, with its biblically figurative walls and corner towers, that once encircled the island, said pastor at Abundant Life Assembly, Kevin Hunte.

“We have to take responsibility for the sin of this nation, whether we committed it or not. Whether we were the ones who broke into somebody’s home or not, we have to take responsibility for it. We have a problem and the church has to begin to take responsibility for the problem,” he said.

Hunte was delivering the sermon at the Errol Barrow Memorial Church Service and Awards ceremony, at the Bank Hall, St Michael church on Sunday morning. (HLE)
