A BARBADIAN woman is flexing her muscles on the world stage.

Marian Worrell, 51, won the Union International Of Natural Body Building (UIBBN) Competition in Barcelona, Spain, on November 14.

She said the competition had a natural component which discouraged the competitor’s use of all types of stimulants.

Worrell, who now resides in Hawaii, told SATURDAY SPORT she was in amazement at her achievement.

“I feel like I’m still dreaming. I really go for the joy and the love of the sport and at times I don’t even call it a sport. I call it a discipline because it’s very harsh on the body but it gives you discipline in all aspects of life. It feels really, really wonderful,” she said. (RMG)
