TODAY is deadline day of the Barbados Football Association (BFA) transfer window.
The BFA office staff can expect a hectic day as club representatives bombard the Wildey complex facility to sign and secure the services of new players and maybe even some past ones as well.
With seven out-a-season tournaments played since the end of the BFA season in July, many players and clubs would have gone unaware or nonchalant towards the deadline date.
A hive of activity is expected to take place in the Premiership division as each team will be vying to improve on their squad from last season.
New boys Belfield and Empire will definitely need to enhance their personnel as they are in a higher division and will want to stay there for more than a year. (ROG)
