New home for Hinds family

THE HINDS FAMILY will be home for the holidays, thanks to the Identification, Stabilisation, Enablement and Empowerment (ISEE) bridge programme.

Sandra Hinds and her sister Erma Hinds were relocated from their dilapidated homes in Bromefield, St Lucy, and have spent the past few months in the recently renovated Lancaster House.

However, by next Tuesday, they will return to two brand new houses made of concrete board.

Minister of Social Care Steve Blackett was present to hand over the keys. He said the ISEE programme involved social workers from the National Assistance Board (NAB) who identified needy families who could benefit from the programme. (CA)
