Landowner Stephen Ward isn’t done with businessman Tim Walsh just yet.
Ward, the St Lucy-based landowner at the heart of a recent Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) decision, is now seeking damages from the Australian farmer for occupying his land for almost two decades without paying any rent.
Trouble is, Walsh has gone back home to Western Australia, having shut up shop with his hydroponics farming business Nature’s Produce a month ago. But according to attorney Leslie Haynes, QC, who represents Ward, they will go to any lengths to get their due.
“The law can follow him to Perth. He owes us costs, and we will seek that in due course,” the attorney told the SUNDAY SUN in an exclusive interview.
