PSVs want ease

INTERIM CHAIRMAN of the Association of Public Transport Operators (APTO) wasted no time yesterday in calling for concessions for owners of public service vehicles (PSVs) and an office at the soon to be constructed River Terminal Facility.

Speaking at the ceremony to mark the start of construction of the new facility, Morris Lee reminded Minister of Transport Michael Lashley that the Minibus Association had submitted a proposal for the allocation of office space at the new terminal for the development of a secretariat, way back when the terminal was being conceptualised.

He said that call still remained.

In relation to the terminal, Lee said it was long overdue.  (MB)
