Tea update: Barbados Pride 300 and 64-1, T&T Red Force 246

BRIDGETOWN – Barbados Pride, with a first innings lead of 54 runs, were 64 for one in their second innings – an overall lead of 118 runs – against Trinidad and Tobago Red Force at tea, on third day of their second round regional Professional Cricket League first-class match at Kensington Oval here Sunday.

The not out batsmen are captain Kraigg Brathwaite on 29 and Shai Hope, 16.

Kyle Corbin was the batsman dismissed for 16, trapped leg before wicket by leg-spinner Imran Khan.

Earlier, Red Force, resuming from 228 for seven at lunch, lost their last three wickets for an additional 18 runs and were dismissed for 246 in 97.2 overs response to Barbados Pride’s first innings total of 300, made from 117.3 overs.

Wicket-keeper Steven Katwaroo bit the top score of 62 off 166 balls with nine fours before he was bowled by seamer Kevin Stoute, who was Barbados Pride’s most successful bowler with four for 54 off 23 overs.

Miguel Cummins finished with three for 65 off 25 overs and fellow pacer Kemar Roach took two for 38 in 18.2 overs. (EZS)
