A ST JAMES MAN managed to walk away from a horrific-looking accident along Spring Garden Highway yesterday.

At around 4:40 p.m., Kelson Lewis, 23, of Haynesville, apparently lost control of his vehicle. Eyewitnesses told the DAILY NATION the car was travelling north past Brandon’s Beach when the crash occurred. The mangled vehicle was upside down next to a destroyed mobile advertisement.

An eyewitness, who gave his name as Jamal, said he was on the beach with friends.

“We hear the ‘bup’. It sound like the car hit the sidewalk and when we look up, we saw the car flying through the air. We ran out here and he was already out the car on the phone,” Jamal said. (CA)
